The coming week should be a promising one for fans of the Solesides crew, with the release of our seventh record, the American release of DJ Shadow's debut album, and a number of shows and appearances. The details: The new LYRICS BORN single, "Balcony Beach" b/w "Burnt Pride" will be released independently on Solesides Records, and will be available at record stores this week. The single features two new tracks from the forthcoming Lateef and Lyrics Born LP entitled _Latyrx_, due for release on Solesides Records next year. Soundclips from the new single, as well as from our other current releases, will be up in the very near future on the revised Solesides Records website at www.massive.com/solesides.
Also, DJ SHADOW'S debut album, _Endtroducing_ will finally see its American release on Mo'Wax/FFRR Records. The album, a journey in instrumental hip hop, has been well received by both critics and hip hop fans since its UK release a few months ago.
Coinciding with these new releases are a number of shows, radio and store appearances planned for the next few weeks. The dates:

NOV 20: DJ SHADOW feat. LATEEF, LYRICS BORN, NUMARK, CUT CHEMIST and DJ RHETTMATIC w/ special guests JURASSIC 5 and BLACKALICIOUS. 9:00pm Dreams & Spaceland, 1717 Silverlake Blvd. in L.A. 21 and up, $8.00
NOV 22: Midnight appearance by the Solesides crew on The Joint at 92.3 The Beat
NOV 23: 2:00pm Solesides appearance at Fat Beats in L.A. 1768 N. Vermont, LA 90027 (213) 663-3717
NOV 23: Solesides on The Wake Up Show, 92.3 The Beat & the following Friday on 106.1 KMEL in the Bay Area & at other affiliated stations in the following weeks.

Hello everyone... I just got my hands on these Latyrx tourdates and I figured that a bunch of kids up here would want them:
6/2 Sacramento The Press Club 230 P St.
6/3 SF Justice League 628 Divisadero
6/5 San Diego Club Matchworks (not the name of the actual club, I think, just the name of the event)
6/11 Austin TX The Electric Lounge
6/12 Houston TX The Foundation
6/13 Atl MJQ 736 Ponce De Leon Place

6/16 Wash DC The Bayou 3135 K St. NW

The tour dates are also supposed to go up on Sandbox Automatic (http://www.sandboxautomatic.com) sometime, maybe when the other dates are finalized. Oh, and don't e-mail me for any additional info about this, this is all I have. Later...
