Kickstarter
Year2013

On June 10 2013 a Kickstarter project was launched by James Lavelle to raise money for an exhibition. Over the years the project was filled with controversy and backers didn't receive their final rewards until 2021, with the project changing over time.

UNKLE's Akrhive Sale 3

In October 2021 UNKLE launched their 3rd "Akrhive Sale", where they sold off products which had previously been unsold. This included items from the Kickstarter. Each of the products featured "Extremely limited remaining stock available via Sandbag. Only one per customer." in their description.

The t-shirt was available in X-Small, Small, Medium, Large, X-L, XX-L, XXX-L, and 4XL sizes. It had the following description, "Limited edition screenprinted t-shirt featuring the original hand-written lyrics for 'Guns Blazing' on the front, as featured as part of a collage on the Psyence Fiction inner sleeve. Given exclusively to backers of the Mo'Wax Urban Archeology Kickstarter."[1]

The cassette was described as, "Facsimile cassette, given exclusively to backers of the Mo'Wax Urban Archeology Kickstarter. Features two unreleased pre-Psyence Fiction album demos recorded at Milo studios, done after James came back from LA, when he was working with Tim Goldsworthy. Presented as a facsimile of the session DAT."[2]

The 7" was available signed or unsigned, and was described as, "Hand-stamped dinked single sided 7" vinyl, given exclusively to backers of the Mo'Wax Urban Archeology Kickstarter. Features an unreleased pre-Psyence Fiction album demo, done after James came back from LA, when he was working with Tim Goldsworthy. This track was taken from a DAT marked 'UNKLE 1 Rough Mix'."
