In the late 1990's Mo'Wax Japan and BAPE teamed with Futura2000 to create several t-shirts. These early BAPE t-shirts feature an Anvil tag, typical of their 1997 releases.[1] Worth noting is that Futura also had his FML label at around the same time which put out very similar designs. Some of these t-shirts were sold shrink-wrapped in to a gun shape.

Names given to designs in this article are assumptions and may not be correct.

This design was created for and made available at the launch of MoWax Japan, and a sticker of the design was also included in the 12" vinyl release of A Bathing Ape Vs Mo'Wax[8]. The t-shirt came shrunk in to a gun shape, and would need to be soaked in water to unpackage.[9][10] The design was featured in Relax Magazine ISSUE 36, and credited to Sk8thing. In another magazine feature, there is a catalogue of Bape collaboration t-shirts which features this one, and also shows it shrunk in to a gun shape.[11]
