Daydreaming with...UNKLE Presents The Road: Soho was a show curated by James Lavelle in 2017 in celebration of UNKLE's The Road album. The exhibition featured work from "3D of Massive Attack, Futura, Doug Foster, John Isaacs, Norbert Schoerner, John Nolan, Nathan Coley, Ben Drury, Warren Du Preez and Nick Thornton Jones, Dexter Navy, Seamus Farrell and more".[1] A private preview was held on Thursday Thursday 19th January which was reviewed by the media before the show was opened to the public between 20th January – 23rd February 2017.[2]

Merch

Several prints and t-shirts were made available for sale at the exhibition, and in 2021 several of these were found and sold as part of UNKLE's "Arkhive" sale.

Note: Each of the Pointman prints were available in five colours black, gold, silver, blue, and pink, and were signed by James Lavelle.

Prints were listed as hand printed at Lazarides Gallery and signed by James Lavelle. They were 50 x 50cm and available in five colours, black, gold, silver, blue, and pink.[3]

Note: The naming of the prints in March 2021 differed from the original gallery listings, and to make matters more confusing the glitter prints swapped names with the non-glitter prints so that the "Original Unkle Pointman" featured the same designed as the "Original Psyence Fiction Pointman" with glitter. While the same prints were called "Unkle Classic Pointman" and "Unkle Psyence Fiction Pointman" at Lazarides Gallery.

The March 2021 listings also noted some t-shirts had errors, "Note. Some t-shirts may have off-center print positions and ink marks which are a result of the hand-made print process. Because of this the t-shirts are priced accordingly. Please see an example on the left."[4]

In October 2021 a third sale featured some of the Single Pointman prints again. These were listed as £50, with all five colours were available either a normal print or glitter print.[5][6]
