The Man From Mo’ Wax, a documentary film about James Lavelle focusing on the rise of Mo'Wax Records and Lavelle's personal struggles, had it's London public debut at BFI Southbank. James Lavelle performed a DJ set in the BFI Bar & Kitchen after the screening[1]. After the film James Lavelle and the directors took part in a Q&A at the cinema which was also streamed live on Facebook.[2]
There was also be a preview of new material for the next Unkle album. This was presented as a Pitch Black Preview (the room will be in full darkness), and 15 minutes of new material was played[3].
The film will tour the world, with the Pitch Black Preview also accompanying the film at most venues across the UK[4].
The film is available to pre-order, and will release on September 10 2018, with a soundtrack preceding it on August 31 2018[5].
