To celebrate the 23rd anniversary of the release of Psyence Fiction, UNKLE's debut album, a small drop of clothing was released in August and September 2021.

First Drop

In the August 27 2021 edition of UNKLE's Original Headz newsletter "an exclusive merch drop...To celebrate the 23rd anniversary of the release of Psyence Fiction" was announced as coming soon, and on September 1st subscribers to the newsletter were sent an email with a pre-order link to purchase the t-shirts.^[1] They were made available to the general public two days later.

The merch drop featured two new t-shirt designs. One with the Psyence Fiction typeface and the other with the albums tracklist.

Each t-shirt was £35 each and printed in a limited run of 50 per design, with a pack of two stickers.

The UNKLE Store described them as follows, "Limited edition screenprinted t-shirt celebrating the 23rd anniversary of the release of Psyence Fiction. Features the Psyence Fiction (Futura) pointman logo on the front, and album's tracklist and logos on the back, with puff printing used on the text.

Second Drop

A second email arrived September 13 announcing a new hoodie and sweatshirt.^[3] Both items were priced at £65 and were expected to ship from week commencing 4th October 2021. They featured the following descriptions:

Hoodie: "Limited edition screenprinted hoody celebrating the 23rd anniversary of the release of Psyence Fiction. Classic heavyweight (3-ply 9.44 oz / 320g) unisex raglan pullover hoody with side pockets in 100% brushed Organic Cotton. Climate neutral - produced with 90% reduced CO2 emmissions. Features the classic UNKLE (Futura) pointman logo on the front, and Psyence Fiction typeface and logos on the back, with puff printing used on the text details."^[4]

Sweatshirt: "Limited edition screenprinted sweatshirt celebrating the 23rd anniversary of the release of Psyence Fiction. Relaxed fit, heavy weight (350g / 10.3oz) sweatshirt in 100% cotton. Features the classic UNKLE (Futura) pointman logo on the front, and Psyence Fiction typeface and logos on the back, with puff printing used on the text details."^[5]
