James Lavelle visited BBC 6 and was interviewed by Nemone for her Nemone's Electric Ladyland program. During the interview Lavelle and Nemone played several songs, including new UNKLE songs from the album The Road Part II. Following the interview Lavelle performed a mix entitled Living In My Headphones Def Mix, utilising the name Lavelle has been using for his Soho Radio show Living In My Headphones.

The mix contained several unreleased songs and mixes, including Massive Attack - Karmacoma (Alternative UNKLE Situation Remix), UNKLE - Dissatisfied, and U2 - Wake Up Dead Man (James Lavelle Remix).

Lavelle uploaded the mix to Mixcloud in 2020 with the following description:

"This UNKLE Def Mix is a mix I put together last year for Nemone’s Electric Ladyland on BBC 6music. The idea was to do a career-spanning 30 minute mix, starting with the earliest tracks, and going right the way through to the last album. For those hardcore fans, it contains part of Dissatisfied, a pre Psyence Fiction album demo featuring Atlantique on vocals and production from myself and Tim Goldsworthy; snap shot of how the record may have been in this incarnation. It also features a section of the unreleased U2 remix I did for Wake Up Dead Man, from their Howie B produced album, Pop.
